Through research programs funded by science and technology R&D organizations within the U.S. Department of Defense, the research and development team in FAST Labs collaborate across the enterprise. On this team, you ll have the opportunity to create and develop advanced technology capabilities in the areas of advanced electronics, autonomy, cyber, electronic warfare, and sensors and processing.

About the Role:

Ready to make a difference? BAE Systems is looking for Integration and Test Lead to work as part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, debug, and test novel RF systems. Focused on delivering innovative solutions, individual technical contributions on a range of Programs will include test planning activities, system integration & test, qualification testing, and test execution in a field deployment environment. Responsibilities may include:

+ Provide technical oversight to integration & test (I&T) efforts to ensure that the overall I&T program will adequately confirm to expectations

+ Leading a small, medium or large team of engineers on RF related programs

+ Creating system test plans, procedures, and reports

+ Leading product integration and verification

+ Supports proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities.

+ Support program technical execution and ensure a proper amount of engineering rigor is applied

+ Develop test and verification strategies that help minimize program cost and technical risk

+ Define test and verification methods, events, and constraints for all requirements; develop and manage the overall Program Test Plan.

+ Design test and validation approaches to ensure the system fulfills its operational objectives and stake-holder requirements in its intended operational setting.

+ Work with customer and program leadership to coordinate, schedule, and ensure readiness to perform test events

+ Lead by example and be willing to mentor, coach, train, guide, direct and advise teammates

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Bachelor's Degree of Science (or equivalent experience in a relevant field) with a minimum work experience of:

+ 8 Years with BS

+ 6 Years with MS

+ 4 Year with PHD

+ Hold an Active or Current TOP SECRET collateral clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Project/Program team member responsible for workflow, which is dynamic in nature.

+ Leadership skills and experience directing and mentoring engineers on complex RF programs

+ Expert in effectively documenting, communicating, leading and working with a team on designs, results, reports, and presentations.

+ Experience performing systems engineering activities such as system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test)

+ Experience developing viable concept solutions, identifying and tracking technical risks, and leading technical teams

+ Ability to travel and work at remote sites in support of test events, meetings and training activities

+ Have active or current U.S. TS/SCI security clearance

+ Experience or knowledge in the following areas is a plus

+ use of MATLAB or other programming languages

+ Digital Communication waveforms of Digital Signal Processing (DSP)

+ test equipment including RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters

+ Experience with Digital Communications and Digital Signal Processing (DSP)

+ Model based systems engineering

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
