BAE Systems is looking for a hands on, experienced Process Engineer to be a contributor in our EWIMC factory for first shift. This person will exhibit leadership skills that serve the needs of the process engineers and the factory.They will be someone who can influence the team within the factory as well as the Integrated Product team outside of the factory.

As a Senior Process Engineer you will make impacts in the following ways;

+ Maintaining the stability of a Production Line while continuously driving improvements, manufacturability, and driving root cause analysis.

+ Partner with suppliers and design teams to assure designs are producible and maintainable.

+ Driving manufacturing process improvements, production problem resolutions, and integrating solutions into a lean manufacturing environment.

+ Collaborating with other functions is crucial to success, some of these functions include: supply chain, quality (inspectors, manufacturing product assurance (MPAs), etc.), program office, and new product introduction (NPI) engineering as well as the product engineering team.

+ This position will combine leadership responsibilities with task management where needed

The individual will work in both office spaces and production environment supporting the factory full time onsite.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site (on first shift). This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Bachelor s degree in an Engineering Discipline and at least 3 years of process engineering or similar experience

+ Strong leadership, people skills, judgement and problem solving capabilities

+ Previous leadership experience in a high technology environment

+ Familiarity with Mil-Standards: Mil-STD-883, IPC-610, and soldering standards

+ Ability to obtain secret security clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Experience with AS9100 and AS9145 standards is a plus

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
