The Associate Director, Pharmacy Capabilities Innovation will contribute to a team passionate about building and refining Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s overall noncommercial pharmacy capability. This includes identification of capabilities, partners, technologies, and innovative ways that allow Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine to become outstanding in supporting patients in our noncommercial patient assistance programs. You will lead the Johnson and Johnson Patient Assistance Program pharmacy operation initiatives including optimization and evolution of existing programs as well as new product launches to support excellence in patient and customer experience. You will serve as lead on vendor accounts affiliated with pharmacy fulfillment of non-commercial goods across the J&J portfolio to ensure operational performance and efficiency. You will work cross-functionally and collaborate with brand teams, patient experience teams and our patient access and affordability team. This role will maintain a manager level direct report.
The position reports to the Director, Pharmacy Excellence and Innovation on the Patient Service Center Innovation and Implementation Team.

The Associate Director, Pharmacy Capabilities Innovation contributes to a team in service to our patients. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
+ Operational Excellence: Use patient analytics, voice of customer, and benchmarking to lead continuous optimization of pharmacy services across the Johnson & Johnson portfolio. Address interdependence with other solutions areas including Patient & Customer Care Solutions and Financial Services & Assistance Solutions to ensure pharmacy services optimization. Proactively share findings and standard processes within the Patient Service Center team and across Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine therapeutic areas.
+ Pharmacy Strategy, Innovation & Design: Collaborate to refine Johnson & Johnson's pharmacy capability and strategy; Use market assessments, competitive landscapes, voice of patient and customer, and industry trends including policy and business models to advise recommendations for program design.
+ Data & Analytics: Evolve data sources and analytics approaches to uncover new insights about the patient journey and experience on Janssen brands; Monitor critical metrics that reflect patient needs and brand strategies; Present performance summaries and strategic recommendations to Px therapeutic area teams
+ Account Management: Ownership of noncommercial pharmacy accounts, including regular oversight and contracting strategy
+ Budgeting: Provide estimates for financial resources to support pharmacy patient experience strategy; Proactively supervise and manage spending
+ Teaming: Lead cross-functional business partners in a sophisticated environment
+ Culture: Champion a culture of learning, smart risk-taking and experimentation within team and through supplier partners

Minimum Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ A minimum of 5 years of relevant healthcare business experience is required with a focus on pharmacy operations (e.g., marketing, pharmacy operations & services, account management)
+ Understanding of access and reimbursement dynamics and the role of pharmacy in the fulfillment of retail and specialty medications preferred
+ Strong strategy, innovation, analytics skills with excellent overall business acumen and ability to manage multiple priorities
+ Experience in developing, maintaining, and influencing strategic business relationships
+ Excellent leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in an unstructured environment and ability to manage project teams with or without direct reports
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present to all levels of leadership
+ Dedication to diversity and inclusion to champion best thinking across the team
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated track record for forging strong, positive relationships with a diverse array of customers and colleagues
+ This position is based in Titusville, NJ and may require occasional domestic travel.
**Preferred Qualifications** :
+ Pharmacy Degree (BSPharm or PharmD)
+ A minimum of 2 years pharmacy operations experience
+ Experience in leading the utilization of data to diagnose a problem and propose a solution with metrics to measure success
+ Ability to challenge the status quo, create new solutions, and enroll others to test and refine
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $207,000.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
+ Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
+ Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
+ Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year
+ Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
