Overview:
Audacy’s Podcast division is seeking a Manager, Podcast Revenue Partnerships. The role is an opportunity to help support the talent and revenue sides of Audacy, specifically within the women’s lifestyle vertical.
Our team is looking for a solutions oriented revenue partnership manager to take the lead on some of our women’s lifestyle shows and help support our tier one partners across all verticals.
This role has two sides to it. The first is talent facing, which requires working with podcast creators and their teams on potential revenue opportunities. The second is internal facing, where you’ll be attending daily RFP meetings to brainstorm custom integrations for your partner shows, approving media plans on the talent’s behalf, and working closely with the strategic sales marketing team to keep them updated on content and schedule changes across your shows.
While the Podcast Revenue Partnerships team is small and closeknit, we work across many divisions at Audacy, including partner management, finance, marketing, events, and streaming.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
+ Become the subject matter expert for assigned shows and act as the primary revenue lead/liaison between podcast partner shows and the various revenue generating departments within Audacy.
+ Represent your shows in each RFP meeting by contributing ideas for branded segments, presenting sponsorships, and other advertising integrations, keeping in mind the talent’s brand affinities, creative preferences, and show structure.
+ Become an important extension of your shows’s team by keeping them up to date on the progress of RFPs, trends in the industry, and by attending recurring partner meetings.
+ Update the relevant internal teams (sales/marketing/finance/etc.) with show updates regarding changes to scheduling, content, availability, and anything else that could be relevant to the show’s revenue streams.
+ Work with the Partner Management team to handle post-sales workflow, new partner onboarding, and developing and presenting show-specific monthly reports.
+ Lead any customized sponsorship execution elements with show partners from start to finish.
+ Utilize day-to-day systems and platforms such as DOMO, Megaphone, Chartable, Podsights, and other proprietary and public research tools as needed.
+ Monitor relevant news, current events, press and brand deals across digital media industry and relay to relevant internal teams.
Qualifications
More About You:
Required & Preferred:
+ 2+ years of experience in a digital, podcast, or media environment.
+ Additional work experience in sales or advertising is a plus.
+ A passion for podcasts and an eagerness to learn more about the space.
+ Strong creativity, writing, and presentation skills.
+ Interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
+ Must be a team player with the ability to collaborate on projects and excel in a fast-paced environment.
+ Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
+ Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to interact with different levels of talent, agents, internal management, and leadership.
