Job Description
We're seeking a creative and strategic marketing professional with a strong understanding of the financial services industry to drive meaningful engagement with our members throughout their financial journey. This role plays a key part in executing lifecycle marketing initiatives, with the goal of deepening relationships, improving retention, and delivering personalized value at every stage.
In this role, you’ll:
+ Lead lifecycle and targeted marketing initiatives – Develop and execute strategies that support the full member journey—from onboarding and engagement to cross-sell, retention, and win-back—while promoting financial products and services aligned with members’ evolving needs.
+ Create and manage personalized, multi-channel campaigns –
+ Concept, write, design, and execute targeted marketing across email, SMS, digital banking, website personalization, push notifications, and teleconsulting. Collaborate with internal teams and manage agency partners as needed.
+ Effectively use marketing automation tools and data – Build and optimize trigger-based and drip campaigns that use behavioral and life stage data to deliver timely, relevant, and personalized content at scale.
+ Measure, analyze, and optimize performance – Conduct A/B testing, define KPIs, and work with Business Intelligence to segment audiences, track campaign effectiveness, and apply insights to improve results.
+ Support cross-functional initiatives and community engagement – Provide marketing support across business units, develop collateral and promotional materials, and represent the Credit Union at events and outreach activities.
Preferred Background:
+ Experience in financial services, banking, or credit union marketing
+ Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing and member/customer journey mapping
+ Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM tools
+ Proven success in B2C (business-to-consumer) marketing, especially in personalized, data-driven campaigns
+ Ability to analyze campaign performance and apply insights to optimize results
Education/Experience:
+ 3-5 years of experience in targeted marketing in a B2C environment, preferably in the financial services space.
+ Experience with audience segmentation and targeted marketing across channels, including digital, direct mail, email, and in-app messaging
+ Track record of successful collaboration with Product, Sales, and Member-Success teams on marketing initiatives that deepen member relationships
+ Good writing and communication skills
+ Knowledge of Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Intuvo is a big plus
+ Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign desired
+ Demonstrated ability to be self-directed to initiate and manage multiple complex projects
The pay range for this position is listed above. Our pay ranges are designed to allow for candidates with various levels of experience and skill to be considered, and to allow room for growth to be achieved in a role over time. Generally, new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their individual combination of experience, knowledge, skills, and education as well as internal equity.
