LSI currently seeks a full time Accounts Payable Specialist to support the Finance team in Des Moines.

What You'll Do

Responsible for timely and accurate agency Accounts Payable processing, distribution and expense posting to general ledger for LSI. Responsible for maintaining all related files and documentation to support Accounts Payable distributions.

Ensure completion of all necessary accounting to produce accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Provide finance support that is useful, relevant, timely, accurate, and exceeds customer expectations.

What You'll Need

Required: High School Diploma/equivalent and 3 years of experience working with computerized accounts payable systems.

Preferred: Associate's degree in Accounting, Business or related field of study and one year experience working with computerized accounts payable systems. Experience with fund accounting, general ledgers and non-profit organizations is preferred.
