Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will monitor information systems to evaluate Maritime Organic repair effectiveness, projects, and efforts to resolve identified inefficiencies. You will develop, coordinate, and implement new logistics management policies and procedures for Maritime Organic requirements. You will make recommendations for projects to be initiated, dropped, or curtailed, as well as policy formulation and long-range planning in Maritime Organic. You will coordinate with various NAVSUP WSS operating and comptroller departments to assist in the formulation and execution of the material budget and budget related projects regarding Maritime Organic supply support initiatives. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing creative and innovative solutions to resolve or develop procedures for the execution of complex logistics policies and requirements related to Organic Repair support; 2) Understanding the material budget process, to include the methodology for computing funding requirements for repair of assets to formulate, justify, and manage the annual budget for repair of materials; 3) Utilizing the functions, structure, and interrelationships of the Navy and other military support communities, including Hardware System Acquistion Program Offices, In-Service Engineering Agents (ISEAs), Technical Support Activity (TSAs) and equipment acquisition Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs) to oversee the coordination, monitoring, and assessment of Organic partners' performance; 4) Using logistics program management policies and procedures to include logistics support analysis guidelines , combat weapon systems analysis guidelines, inventory management and life-cycle logistics support to provide guidance/direction to stakeholders and to implement actions in support of assigned programs.
