The role** **you’ll** **contribute:
The Manager of Corporate Responsibility (CR) reports to the Corporate Responsibility Director (CRD) for AHMG CFD-S and assists the Corporate Responsibility Director (CRD) and the Regional Corporate Responsibility Officer (RCRO) with general administration and oversight of the CR program. The department functions as an independent and objective body that reviews, promotes and evaluates compliance and privacy issues and concerns within the Medical Group. Assists the CRD/RCRO with tracking and reporting on regulatory changes, performing research regarding regulatory requirements, and advising team regarding education and training related to regulatory requirements. Assists the CRD/RCRO with performing compliance risk assessment, performing monthly reviews of progress in completing all audits and monitoring tasks required by the AdventHealth (AH) Corporate Responsibility Workplan, and completing compliance and privacy audits and investigations at the Medical Group. Collaborates with the AH PE Revenue Integrity team regarding compliance with coding audit policies and procedures, drafts education and training materials, assists with vendor screening and Business Associate Agreement matters, serves as an additional resource to AHMG employees seeking compliance support, provides compliance presentations at New Hire Orientation, provides compliance presentations at AHMG team meetings and programs and assists in the development of further compliance program development. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
The value** **you’ll** **bring to the team:
+ Assists CRD/RCRO with ongoing risk assessments of policies, procedures, training programs, etc.; analyzes whether there are any gaps; and helps to determinetimeframes and resources necessary to address any gaps.
+ Assigns daily CR compliance and privacy investigations and workload amongst the CR team.
+ Works independently to investigate privacy complaints and concerns (reports of potential non-compliance) submitted by AdventHealth workforce members and AdventHealth patients via all reporting methods. Conducts a breach risk assessment for each investigation to determine if a breach has occurred and follows the appropriate steps to complete the investigation per the HIPAA Privacy Regulations and AdventHealth Privacy program policies and procedures.
+ Conducts thorough and timely investigations of complaints against AHMG related to compliance and assess the viability and severity of the complaints.
+ Conducts compliance research (research and analysis of federal and state laws and regulations, compliance guidance, industry publications, etc.) and synthesizes information for leadership.
+ Assists the CRD/RCRO, legal counsel, and operations leaders in ensuring appropriate maintenance of forms, information notices and materials reflecting current organizational and legal practices and requirements as prescribed by state and federal laws.
