The Benefits Administrator is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operation of the benefit programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, travel and accident plan, flexible spending plan, both employer and employee related retirement plan(s)). Provides excellent customer service and quality benefits administration plans.

Our five hospitals and eleven clinics provide excellence in our comprehensive services, medical advancement, and overall patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinates benefits eligibility, enrollments and plan design changes with internal systems and external carrier systems.
+ Provides timely response to requests and questions regarding benefits, escalating complex issues to the Benefits Analyst. Cross functional ability to fill in for Benefits Analyst. Prepares statistical data for premiums, claims, and costs by interfacing with external and internal resources.
+ Ensure all monthly invoices for provider premiums and weekly wire requests from providers are completed in coordination with Health and Welfare plans, accounting and outsource vendor.
+ Processes life insurance and Long Term Disability (LTD) claims and documentation for employees and dependents.
+ Administers other benefit and employer status change events for processing.
+ Coordinates various projects and ensure that assignments are completed.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
+ Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
+ Must be detail oriented and provide prompt and accurate administration.
+ Ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong MS Office Skills to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

+ Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, finance or related field or equivalency.
Qualifications (Preferred)
Preferred
+ Two to five years experience in benefits administration and understanding of Health and Welfare plans. Retirement plan knowledge, experience and training preferred. Processing LTD claims and data reporting, and PeopleSoft experience a plus.
