    About the Role:

    PDS Tech Commercial Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Senior Advanced Systems Engineer** to contribute to the development of advanced solutions for a critical customer mission. In this role, you will be at the forefront of new product development, focusing on technical risk management, customer missionization, and system verification for airborne complex electronic hardware.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead technical tasks associated with **new product development** , ensuring milestones are met and projects stay on track.

    + Identify, assess, and manage **technical risks** , ensuring project success and smooth development throughout.

    + Collaborate across multiple functions to deliver **high-quality solutions** within defined deadlines and budget constraints.

    + Ensure full **compliance** with industry standards, regulations, and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

    + Perform in-depth **customer flow-down requirements analysis** , feasibility assessments, and develop strategic technical solutions for testing, architecture design, and test development.

    + Develop and maintain critical system documentation, including:

    + System-level requirements

    + Interface Control Documents

    + Hardware Requirements Specifications

    + Software Test Plans and Procedures (complying with **DO-178** )

    + Hardware Verification Test Plans and Procedures (complying with **DO-254** )

    + Airborne Complex Electronic Hardware Requirement Verification and Certification documents.

    1. Design and develop **system verification test cases and scripts** , validating system performance and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

    2. Regularly update and manage **project schedules** and **budgets** , ensuring alignment with system engineering perspectives and project goals.

    3. Provide mentorship and guidance to engineering team members throughout all stages of product development, from requirements definition to system architecture development, design, integration, and verification. **Qualifications:** **Must-Have:**

    4. **Bachelor’s Degree** in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

    5. **8+ years of experience** in the systems engineering process, including requirements analysis, verification, and validation testing.

    6. Expertise in **DO-178** and **DO-254** certification standards.

    7. In-depth understanding of **Hardware Accomplishment Summary (HAS)** , **Plan for Hardware Aspects of Certification (PHAC)** , and **Stages of Involvement (SOI)** for both **DO-254** and **DO-178** .

    8. Experience with **Sensors** , **Guidance** , and **Navigation** systems.

    9.
