    Job Summary

    Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to join our growing Finance team. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, discretion, analytical acumen, and operational support. You will work closely with the Senior Director of Finance to drive clarity, follow-through, and insight across the organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, confident, and capable of handling sensitive information with integrity.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    + Executive & Strategic Support:

    + Attend Senior Director of Finance’s meetings, take detailed notes, and provide action steps.

    + Coordinate and prepare materials for meetings, presentations, and reports.

    + Review and evaluate Senior Director of Finance’s emails to identify:

    + Actionable items

    + Information that should be escalated to leadership

    + Act as a strategic partner to the Senior Director of Finance to support clarity and forward motion.

    + Financial Reporting & Analysis:

    + Create and deliver ad hoc financial reports.

    + Provide data-driven insights to support executive decision-making.

    + Discretion & Confidentiality:

    + Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and organizational information.

    + Exercise sound judgment in determining what information should be shared, escalated, or kept private.

    + Operational & Process Development:

    + Learn and gradually take on responsibilities related to payroll systems and processes.

    + Identify gaps or inefficiencies and propose solutions.

    + Track deadlines, follow up on action items, and support project management as needed.

    + Communication & Coordination:

    + Synthesize meeting discussions into clear communication and follow-up tasks.

    + Ensure important details are shared with relevant team members or departments.

    + Draft, review, and manage correspondence and communications on behalf of the Senior Director of Finance.

    + Independent Problem Solving:

    + Work autonomously with minimal oversight.

    + Proactively identify issues, propose solutions, and drive projects forward.

    + Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and work independently.

    Qualifications and Skills

    + 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.

    + Exceptional judgment and discretion with confidential and sensitive information.

    + Proven ability to think critically, act proactively, and solve problems independently.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, calendar systems, and communication platforms.

    + Comfortable navigating executive-level conversations and managing up effectively.

    + Experience creating financial reports and synthesizing data into actionable insights.

    + Organized and thorough, with strong written communication and note-taking skills.

    + A humble, team-first mindset with the confidence to speak up and drive progress.
