Ocean Bay is an 8(a) Program certified, Alaska Native Corporation (ANC)-owned, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB). We are searching for an **ESS SME** to work with in Washington, DC.

    Position Overview:

    We have an immediate need for an Electronic Security System (ESS) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assist in all phases of implementation of Electronic Security Systems (ESS) at the Agencies' protection locations in and around Washington, DC.

     

    You will serve within a diverse team of professionals dedicated to the protection of vital assets in a dynamic operating environment. You will share your expertise in defining system requirements and specifying solutions, reviewing system designs, overseeing and verifying installations, and directing system transitions and implementation.

     

    You will provide expertise and consultation in the areas of Intrusion Detection, Access Control, Closed Circuit Video with Video Management, and Network Management Systems. Your expertise will support the design, installation and testing of these systems including upgrade/enhancement taskings.

    Position Requirements:

    + _US Citizen_

    + _Active Top Secret Clearance_

    + _Ability to pass a rigorous background check_

    + High School Diploma or equivalent with applicable technical training/certifications

    + Minimum ten (10) years of experience working in a lead capacity to support IDS, CCTV, and VMS systems.

    + Experience in Electronic Security System roles such as: _System Analyst, Project Manager, Design Engineer, System Architect, Systems Integration Engineer or Subject Matter Expert_

    + Experience working with an enterprise-level IDS, ACS CCTV, and VMS systems such as MDI, Lenel, Identiv, AMAG, Innometriks, DMP, etc.

    + Demonstrated knowledge of security threats, remediation, and operational best practices, and liaising with law enforcement.

    + Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction

    + Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

    + Demonstrated ability to be flexible in work schedule and assignment

    + Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing

    + Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others

    + Proficient in MS Office Software to include Visio and Project

    + Proficient in creation and review of design drawings

    _Preferred but not Required:_

    + _Active Top Secret Clearance_

    + _BS in technical field_

    + Ten (10) years’ experience in Electronic Security System roles such as: _System Analyst, Project Manager, Design Engineer, System Architect, Systems Integration Engineer or Subject Matter Expert_

    + Active or previous certification in an enterprise level Electronic Security System, such as MDI, Identiv, Lenel, AMAG, Innometriks, etc.

    + Experience with AutoCAD or equivalent drawing software

    + Experience with NIWC Atlantic SIPH or equivalent drafting standard

    + Knowledge of some or all the following systems: Identiv, Verint, MDI, AMAG, DMP, Vindicator, Southwest Microwave, Senstar
