    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities

    + Manage antibody production campaigns in collaboration w/therapeutic areas, incl. data mgmt, presentation & coordination of assays to be run.

    + Execute high throughput molecular cloning & antibody production workflows using automation technologies.

    + Lead dvlpmt of new automated liquid handling or analytical workflows.

    + Characterize therapeutic proteins using MS, SEC, DSF, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, FACS.

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience

    Must have a Master's in biology, biochemistry or related field & 2 yr research or industry exp in:

    (i) Applying molecular biology techniques (PCR, molecular cloning);

     

    (ii) Utilizing sequence analysis tools (Vector NTI, Geneious, Sequencher), graphing software (GraphPad Prism) &statistical analysis (Python);

     

    (iii) Applying cell culture (bacteria, mammalian) & protein purification techniques (AKTA, Protein Maker, Assay MAP);

     

    (iv) Conducting analytical characterization of therapeutic proteins (MS, SEC, DSF, ELISA, SDS-PAGE); and

     

    (v) Conducting statistical (Python) and structure-based (PyMol, Schrodinger Bioluminate) analysis of protein structure and function to predict liabilities and features of interest in antibodies.

     

    Of experience required, must also have 1 yr research or industry exp utilizing and developing methods on liquid handling platforms (Hamilton, Tecan, Dynamic Devices).

     

    Experience may be gained concurrently.

     

    Additional Information

     

    Salary Range: $104,200 - $138,500 per year.
