    About the Role:

    Develop, implement,monitor,and manage Data Integrity & Governance (DIG) departmental objectives thatsupporta transformational data governance framework to grow with the bank. Oversee Key Data Element (KDE) profiling and remediation, establishment and build out of a Data Management Framework for the enterprise. Establish and monitor data integrity/governance guidance enterprise wide to provide executive management and the board of director's high-quality, reliable data for strategic decision making. Develop DIG staff talent and drive departmental objectives forward to completion.

     

    Development of the loan portfoliothroughthe monitoring, maintenance, and reporting of loan portfolio credit risk and concentrations. Responsible for internal and regulatory reporting related to portfolio quality and composition, liaison activities with Regulatory agencies, credit policy and guideline support. Contribute to the recommendation, development, and implementation of policies and business goals.

     

    + Build out, monitor and scale DIG KDE profiling efforts across the enterprise to ensure high quality, complete data is available for executive management and BOD decision-making.

    + Leverage Informatica application for Metadata Management processes, Data Lineage, a DataCatalog,and a Business Data Glossary across acloud-baseddata EDW (Columbia Bank Analytics).

    + Partner with DIG team and other associates across the bank to ensure the Bank has an effective Data Management Framework.

    + Develop DIG department associates’ skill sets in technical areas as well as providing guidance in developing contacts and experience working with other lines of business and external vendors.

    + Negotiate agreements/contracts with outside vendors or entities toensurecommitments are met, budget is in line with expectations, and products and services are used in an efficient and effective manner.

    + Assess existing data and risk analytics tools and techniques. Select best in class tools and technologies to support overall Data Strategy and Governance.

    + Research areas to enhance forward looking risk analytics capabilities and data risk management opportunities.

    + Support all aspects of loan portfolio management, including loan credit risk reporting, concentration management, detailed knowledge ofasset-basedlending, development of programs, communication with internal strategic partners, and oversight of the quality of loan data and reporting.

    + Monitor and manage the loan portfolios within agreed upon strategies, policies, guidelines, and concentration limits. Develop and make recommendations to the Capital Policy Committee for timely changes.

    + Direct and/or serve on committees to ensure effective collaboration between corporate divisions and established policies, programs, objectives, and goals are communicated.

    + Prepare internal and external report for investor relations, the board of directors, and regulatory/auditing agencies. Implement corrective measures in response to internal and external examination/review findings.

    + Analyze, develop, and implement operating policies, procedures, objectives, and goals to ensure they support corporate-wide policies and objectives.

    + Monitor and supportcompliance withlaws and regulations. Ensure policies and procedures remain current and are documented.

    About** **You:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering/IT, Finance, or related field required.

    + Master’s Degree preferred.

    + More than 10 yearsof related business experience with an emphasis in banking, information systems controls or data integrity/managementrequired.

    + 0-4 yearsin supervisory role with an emphasis in banking, information systems controls or data integrity/managementpreferred.

    + 7-10 yearsof experience in portfolio modeling, credit risk management, data systems, and economic reporting/forecastingpreferred.

    + Skills, Knowledge or experience in leveraging artificial intelligence to improve data integrity.

    + Advanced knowledge of data management functions and concepts including data lineage, metadata management, master data management, data profiling and relational databases.

    + Proficient in concepts and techniques around data mining, cloud data storage, data security and consumer data privacy.

    + Possess technical expertise with automatic data collection and reporting systems, including capacity for program troubleshooting and system controls with the ability to lead and teach other associates in this regard.

    + Ability to see large-scale projects through to completion including the initiation phase, through sourcing of vendors, onboarding, working with IT and moving into a production environment.

    + Excellent relationship management and operational experience, analytical and problem-solvingskills,and project management skills.

    + Ability to work with individuals and teams at all levels across the organization and with external company representatives and vendors. Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.

    + Proven ability to develop talent and bench strength in various data functions including overall data management, profiling, data glossary, metadata, data lineage and master data management.

    + Extensive knowledge of financial institution credit risk management practices, including industry underwriting standards and credit administration policies and practices.

    + Demonstrate a high level of analytical skill to assess and evaluate the portfolio, participate in establishing financial goals, analyze new products, review legal contracts, and draft formal reports for executive reporting.

    + Extensive knowledge of the bank's products and policies. Knowledge of state/federal regulations and portfolio management regulatory guidelines.

    + Possess excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational, decision making, and analytical skills.

    + Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Knowledge of SQL programming, Snowflake, Qlik and Informatica a plus.

    + Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage financial data.

    + Proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel.

    + Ability to prioritize multiple tasks successfully.

    + Organized and detail oriented.

    + Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

    + Ability to train and present to small and large audiences or has the interest in learning to train and present.

    We offer a competitive total rewards package including basewagesand comprehensive benefits. Thepayrange for this role is $116,647.72 to $216,631.17, and the pay rate for the selected candidate isdependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The rolemay beeligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
