    Program Overview

     

    Discover opportunities designed to set your career in motion! The Comcast internship/co-op program will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop strong interpersonal and business skills, gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a Fortune 40 media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network.

     

    This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.

     

    Organization** **& Team** **Overview

     

    The Campus Experience team manages a range of amenities and services across Comcast Campus Philadelphia including Events, Conference Services, Wellness and Food Services as well as several offsite and virtual events. Our passionate team of experts design and activate a world class experience through strategic programming, thoughtful partnership and more, to enhance employee engagement. The Campus Experience team often collaborates with other Comcast teams including Catering, Security, Communications, A/V, Building Operations, etc. as well as local vendors. Events our team regularly produce include campus activations, weekly wellness programming, receptions and dinners, incentive offsites, and many more!

    Role Description

    The Campus Experience co-op is an essential role supporting the Corporate Administration team. This co-op will participate in the planning and execution of campus experience and employee events/activations. This includes responsibilities such as communications/marketing efforts, creating event plans, researching vendors and venues, daily miscellaneous event tasks. Supports and assists with the coordination of the Campus Experience amenities, including areas such as the fitness center, lactation rooms, quiet rooms, etc. This role will provide on-site support for all Campus Experience team initiatives.

     

    What are some interesting problems the student will work on?

     

    This co-op will engage with various teams across the corporation during multiple projects. While working with these teams, the co-op and/or event lead will face challenges and need to work and communicate with others to ensure a seamless employee experience during our events. These are essential skills to build throughout their co-op and bring with them into the workforce. They will play an essential role in the development of new and innovative events as our team continues to make the campus experience unique.

     

    Where can this student make an impact?

     

    In addition to bringing creative ideas to the table, this student will make the greatest impact by embracing the positive team dynamic and being a proactive collaborator. Effective communication, diligence and attention to detail will be critical within this role.

    Job Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    + Supports the strategic development and tactical delivery of campus events and employee activations.

    + Proactively identifies and researches new event ideas and opportunities.

    + Assists with Campus Experience programming and projects.

    + Creates and edits event communications, collateral and presentations.

    + Demonstrates the ability to work on large-scale programs and projects with concurrent deadlines.

    + Demonstrates organization skills. Ability to act as a central hub for documents and information.

    + Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.

    + Projects associated with research and outsourcing vendors, venues, etc.

    + Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Preferred Skills

    + Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); proficiency in Adobe products and/or Canva is a plus but not required.

    + Excellent time and project management, attention to detail, and organization and delegation skills.

    + Excellent verbal/written communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills, and customer service skills.

    + The ability to effectively interface with all levels of management including senior management.

    + Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

    + Experience with program and event management preferred.

    + Preferred Majors: Communications, Business, Marketing, Entertainment and Arts Management

    Minimum** **Qualifications** **and Eligibility Requirements

    + Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.

    + Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting September 22, 2025, through March 27, 2026.

    + Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

    + Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting
