Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineers learn production operations and the manufacturing discipline in a controlled environment. They develop manufacturing engineering skills, an understanding of manufacturing (cost, quality, safety and schedule), and Raytheon systems and tools. MEs build technical depth in manufacturing processes and are accountable for improvement and optimization.
What You Will Do:
+ Design, control, and improve the manufacturing process
+ Improve cycle time and lead time
+ Implement manufacturing process control and performance monitoring
+ Create and oversee improvement projects
+ Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
+ Perform hardware defect analysis
+ Participate in corrective action investigations
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
+ This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Experience/education with interpretation of technical documentation
+ Experience/education with project execution
+ Experience/education with lean manufacturing
+ Experience/education with technical writing
+ Experience/education with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance analysis
+ Strong engineering aptitude and analytical skills
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
+ Technical problem solving
+ Active DOD Security Clearance
+ Understanding of all phases of product life cycles, beginning with proposal development and advanced manufacturing initiatives, continuing through production implementation and extending to support of customer requirements and supply chain demands
+ Experience in statistical process control
+ Experience in accurately diagnosing problems and implementing solutions to restore production functionality
+ Demonstrated analytical skills to ascertain production or process weaknesses and provide process improvement solutions
+ Demonstrated ability to select new machines, components and equipment to meet program performance requirements
+ Capable of diagnosing problem root cause with limited upfront information
+ Ability to perform project management and risk mitigation

+ Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. This position involves direct support of manufacturing activities and requires spending significant amounts of time in and around factory areas.
+ This position is located at the Raytheon Diné Facility in Farmington, NM. RTX- Diné Facility adheres to the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act in areas of recruitment and hiring practices.
The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
