• Engineer 3

    US Tech Solutions (Juliette, GA)


    + The Engineer 3 position requires 7-10 years of related experience and an accredited bachelor’s degree.

    + Responsible for applying engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to design and construct power related systems.

    + Supports estimate preparation, develops design options, and prepares construction specifications.

    + Provide guidance, oversight, and quality assurance reviews for approved contractors as they develop design solutions, cost estimates, and construction packages.

    + Job responsibilities include creating a safe work environment by putting safety first, understand the process used for planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance.

    + Understanding the functions and activities of various internal departments involved in design, construction, and maintenance, understanding design practices and work processes, using all software applications used in design.

    + Understanding industry and client design standards, supporting design standard and criteria development for the system, supporting construction and maintenance teams during day-to-day operations, estimating material for projects, transmitting construction packages and supporting specifications.

    + Skillsets and expertise required for this position include introductory engineering knowledge, good problem-solving skills, discretion making independent decisions based on procedure.

    + Good discipline software knowledge, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.

    Education:

    + Accredited bachelor’s degree.
