    Comcast’s DevX organization creates an extensible ecosystem of solutions, evolving based on deep partnerships, which empower Comcast’s Engineering community to do more of what they love and feel deeply connected to their impactful work.

     

    It is our DevX belief that we can make developers happier, more focused, more innovative, and ultimately more productive by providing tools and automated processes that reduce the impact that non-functional requirements have on our developer’s lives.

     

    As part of the Comcast TPX DevX Portfolio team, you will be a vital member of the Comcast Cable CTO's organization. Our team is integral to the DevX organization, in that most of our customers are our DevX teammates. Our team focuses on aligning our internal DevX organization’s operations and delivering our large, cross-cutting programs across both DevX and the TPX organizations. We support DevX’s many efforts through strategic planning and portfolio management by driving consistency across the organization to create a seamless and positive experience for the teams that run or consume our services and platforms. We are a diverse group of customer-focused, curious risk-takers, willing to disrupt ourselves and others and driven by a desire to create operational excellence. You will operate as a Technical Program Manager, focused on our internal organization operations, and in particular, our internal and external communications and the process by which we capture and share value/accomplishments.

    As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead some of our internal organization operations efforts. We do not have dedicated communications staff to support the ~400 folks and ~18 services in our organization. We have tremendous opportunity to define and optimize the process by which we capture the work our teams are doing, their successes, and how/where that shows to our 10,000+ technologist customers across Comcast Cable!

     

    What are some interesting problems the student will work on?

     

    How do we communicate relevant information to 10k+ developers as well as very senior leaders across the company? How do we minimize the amount of effort it takes to compile relevant information and ensure it reaches the right target audience at the right time?

     

    Where can this student make an impact?

     

    You’ll be working closely with our DevX development teams, service leads, management, and senior leaders to design a more efficient communications process for our organization. You’ll also help us make the look/feel of all our communications consistent, keeping our customers in mind.

    Job Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    + Build a comprehensive developer portal (WordPress) to house our Knowledge Base, Onboarding experience, feedback mechanism, etc.

    + Consolidated our quarterly newsletters and make the look/feel the same.

    + Design a process by which our accomplishments automatically flow into our external communications, so teams do not need to manually enter them.

    + Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

    + Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.

    + Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting September 22, 2025, through March 27, 2026.

    + Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

    + Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting
