    Job Summary:

    The Process and Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems and process improvements for Anderson-Negele’s manufacturing and production operations. This role will focus on optimizing system performance, ensuring reliable and efficient operations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across production processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + **Process Improvement:**

    + Analyze current manufacturing processes and develop strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

    + Implement process control solutions that enhance product quality and production output.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization.

    + **Control Systems Design and Maintenance:**

    + Design, program, and implement PLC, SCADA, and HMI control systems.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues, including software and hardware failures.

    + Maintain, calibrate, and upgrade automation equipment and systems.

    + **Project Management:**

    + Lead and support engineering projects related to process automation and control system improvements.

    + Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

    + Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, adhering to quality and safety standards.

    + **Data Analysis and Reporting:**

    + Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process efficiency and control system performance.

    + Generate technical reports and provide insights to support data-driven decision-making.

    + Maintain accurate documentation for process changes, maintenance logs, and system modifications.

    + **Compliance and Safety:**

    + Ensure that all process and control systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

    + Implement safety protocols and conduct risk assessments related to automated systems.

    + Train operators and maintenance personnel on the safe and efficient use of control systems.

    Qualifications:

    + **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

    + **Experience:**

    + Minimum 3-5 years of experience in process engineering and control system design, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.

    + Experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, HMI development, and process automation.

    + Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISA, IEC, NFPA).

    + **Technical Skills:**

    + Proficiency in PLC software (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and SCADA/HMI platforms.

    + Strong knowledge of process control instrumentation and automation technologies.

    + Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

    + **Soft Skills:**

    + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    + Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

    + Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

    + **Preferred:**

    + Certification in Control Systems Engineering (CSE) or related field.

    + Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies and smart manufacturing practices.

    + Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
