Our team leverages industry standard open\-source software solutions such as GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher\. Our automation\-first and “everything as code” mindset allows our software engineers to focus their time and efforts on what is most important \- building cutting edge functionality for our end users\.

You will have the opportunity to be a full\-stack developer working on both front\-end and back\-end software using JavaScript as well as developing automated tests \(unit tests, service level tests, and end\-to\-end tests\) to ensure high quality software that is built into our continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines\.

Basic Qualifications:

• Recent experience in software development using Java for back\-end development and system integration

• Experience integrating multiple applications and systems, including integration patterns and technologies \(API gateways, message brokers, data transformation\)

• Experience with application containerization \(e\.g\. Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher, etc\.\) in a cloud environment \(AWS/Azure/Openstack/Openshift\)

• Experience with CI/CD \- Deployment pipelines, automated build, and configuration tools

• Ability to demonstrate complex system capabilities to technical and non\-technical stakeholders

• Experience with software version control tools, such as Git

• Knowledge of database management systems, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL

• Experience with API design and development, such as RESTful APIs

• Candidate must be eligible for TS/SCI clearance, but no clearance is required to start

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with stakeholder management and communication, including test event planning and execution

• Experience with creating and delivering technical demonstrations, presentations, and documentation

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools \(e\.g\., Ansible, Puppet, Chef\) for infrastructure automation

• Experience with creating, running, and maintaining automated tests for testing software

• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment

• Experience in running unit tests with Playwright and/or integration testing with Cucumber

• Experience working on large\-scale software projects with multiple teams and stakeholders

• Familiarity with the Space Domain

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer science, computer engineering, other engineering discipline, or equivalent experience

**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 9x80 every other Friday off
