Description:
You will be an Infrared Sensor Systems Testing and Integration Engineer for our team, supporting 2\-3 major programs across production and development\. Our team is responsible for the full lifecycle of focal plane arrays, from design to testing and integration\.
What You Will Be Doing
As an Infrared Sensor Systems Testing and Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for handling a broad scope of engineering work, including technical tasks and program/resource planning\. You will play a key role in supporting the development and production of infrared sensor systems, leveraging your technical expertise to drive project success\.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Designing and executing tests in a laboratory setting to ensure system performance and reliability
• Developing and implementing scripts using languages such as MATLAB, Python, or C\+\+ to automate testing and data analysis
• Collaborating with cross\-functional teams to plan and allocate resources, ensuring project milestones are met
• Supporting the full lifecycle of focal plane arrays, from design and development to testing and integration

MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- This position is located at a facility that requires special access\. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance\.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM\-related or equivalent professional experience
• Experience coding in a scripting language to include any of the following: MATLAB, C, C\+\+, SQL, Java, HTML, or Python
• Hands on experience in test design and testing in a laboratory setting
Desired Skills:
• Experience with testing any variety of photo\-detector products \(Infrared, Visible, UV, Gamma, LIDAR, LADAR\)
• Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance
• Electronic troubleshooting of digital and analog
electronics
• Focal plane manufacturing or testing experience
• Project Management experience \(project planning\), team leadership, or working with budgetary estimates
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 \- $150,765\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\.

\(Washington state applicants only\) Non\-represented full\-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off \(PTO\) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays\. Represented full time employees accrue 6\.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays\. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year\.
This position is incentive plan eligible\.
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $98,300 \- $170,315\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\.
