Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities

+ Administer general, regional and monitored anesthesia and analgesia care for scheduled (non-emergent) pediatric orthopedic procedures and imaging at the discretion of and under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist

+ Evaluate patients preoperatively and, in consultation with the attending anesthesiologist, formulate and carry out a full anesthesia care plan

+ Safely transport patients to and from an anesthetizing location and ensure appropriate care during the postoperative period

+ Be an effective team member and interact with staff and patients in a way that shows respect and consideration for the individual and those around you

Required Skills/Abilities

+ Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field

+ Minimum 2 years of experience

+ Comfortable practicing independently as well as a shared resource for attending anesthesiologists

+ Regional anesthesia experience preferred but not necessary

+ ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NBCRNA certification

+ Current CRNA License
