Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance and Data Analytics team within Small Business Banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing robust financial models, supporting strategic initiatives through data-driven insights, and managing cross-functional projects to drive business performance. This role will play a critical part in management reporting and strategic analysis to support decision-making at the senior leadership level.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and valuation.
+ Analyze and assess pricing options for the full suite of small business banking products.
+ Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, variances, and key business drivers.
+ Prepare and deliver accurate and insightful management reporting.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to manage and execute financial aspects of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
+ Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess potential risks and opportunities.
+ Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial processes, tools, and reporting efficiency.
Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
+ Typically two or more years of related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
+ Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures
+ Well-developed mathematical and analytical skills
+ Basic knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning
+ Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
+ Strong technical skills related to data mining and visualization tools
+ Experience with MS Excel, Power BI
+ Experience with SQL preferred

_The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days._

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $81,515.00 - $95,900.00 - $105,490.00
