Role Purpose
This position manages the planning, administration, implementation and communication of company-wide health and welfare, retirement and well-being employee benefit programs. The role manages the Benefits Team.
Responsibilities
+ Leads benefit related programs and projects including Wellness, Annual Enrollment, etc.
+ Partners with HR Operations in development of processes and support materials to continuously improve the employee experience.
+ Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
+ Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
+ Evaluates existing benefits and proposes new programs through information obtained by research, market trends and employee feedback. Consults and collaborates with leadership to identify benefit strategies that support business needs.
+ Manages and administers existing benefits programs. Ensures compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements.
