    A leading financial services firm headquartered in **Boston, MA** is hiring a **DevOps Lead** for a **hybrid contract** role paying **$90–$110/hour** . This role offers a mix of onsite and remote work and is geared toward someone with deep hands-on experience in **AWS (ECS/Fargate)** , modern DevOps tools, and CI/CD automation in large-scale environments.

     

    This is a high-impact role for a DevOps expert who thrives at the intersection of **technical execution and strategic thinking** . You’ll be expected to hit the ground running, lead DevOps initiatives, and drive infrastructure automation efforts. The ideal candidate is just as comfortable writing CI/CD pipelines as they are engaging stakeholders and aligning infrastructure solutions with business goals. This is a fast-paced environment where your AWS expertise and DevOps leadership will directly support agile application delivery at scale.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • 7+ years of DevOps experience in cloud-native, enterprise-level environments

    • Deep AWS expertise, especially ECS, Fargate, CloudFormation, and IAM

    • Strong background in CI/CD pipeline development (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)

    • Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, CDK, etc.)

    • Ability to operate in a hybrid strategic/hands-on role

    Desired Skills & Experience

    • Financial services industry experience

    • Proficiency with container orchestration and Docker best practices

    • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, etc.)

    • Strong communication skills and stakeholder alignment capabilities
