    $65/hr - $90/hr

     

    This client, in the financial services industry, is looking to hire a Google Cloud Engineer who can design and deploy scalable data pipelines using GCP services. Experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions is essential. You'll work closely with Data, Application Development, and DevOps teams to implement cloud solutions that align with business goals. This is a 12 month contract that is Hybrid (onsite 3 days per week).

    Required Skills & Experience

    + 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering

    + Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Functions

    + Proven ability to design and deploy end-to-end data pipelines on GCP

    + Proficient in Python and Bash scripting

    + Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab

    + Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and data modeling

    Desired Skills & Experience

    + GCP Professional Data Engineer or Cloud Architect Certification

    + Experience in financial services or other regulated industries

    + Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Deployment Manager)
