Job Summary and Qualifications
The Sr. EHR Analyst is actively engaged in researching current/future state process analysis by providing objective assessments of business operation initiatives with a focus on the people side of adopting changes required to realize areas of opportunity in the operation. Under the direction of the Operations Process Improvement Manager, the EHR Analyst will be responsible for leading process improvement initiatives, driving continuous improvement with people, systems and tools to produce a standard user experience. Additional responsibilities may include management of training and post go-live surveys and lessons learned/Governance processes that occur during Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation with the HCA Clinical Services Group (CSG). This role will also involve partnering directly with various HCA departments to initiate their use of CSG’s EHR platform to ensure the ongoing success of their practice. The Senior Analyst consistently executes the HCA implementation approach, including risk and issue identification, mitigation and resolution
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
+ Identify, prepare, and/or ensure completion of high quality, professional deliverables as required by each project plan
+ Collaborate with the other Sr. Analyst by conducting research, gather data and assisting with projects associated with an EHR.
+ Proactively identify project-level issues.
+ Analyze date to develop and improve processes to support program requirements
+ Contribute and recommend changes to existing policies based on research findings.
+ Responsible for facilitating effective communications among all team members and leadership to ensure comprehensive understanding of needs, expectations and requirements
+ Establish and maintain effective relationships with clinical professionals and other stakeholders across the enterprise
+ Supports department leadership in documentation of departmental policies, procedures and program standards
+ Manage and provide any project management needs across the team as assigned
+ Prioritization and management of assigned development projects
+ Driving escalation and resolution of critical project related issues, including resource needs that may impact the project completion.
+ Adheres to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”.
+ All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
+ Bachelor’s degree or a combination of equivalent education/work experience in business, computer science, health care or related field.
EXPERIENCE:
+ Minimum of 1-3 years Healthcare industry experience
+ Previous experience with implementation of an electronic health record in a hospital or outpatient setting.
+ Prior experience in project or business management role with demonstrated leadership skills leading other people on a team to achieve success in the implementation of system applications.
+ Demonstrable applied knowledge of business processes and process improvement methodologies
+ Competent in MS Office Suite.
