    Your Responsibilities Will Include:

    + Collaborating closely with UX designers, architects,and product managers to design and develop secure, reliable, and scalablesoftware.

    + Developing automation scripts for infrastructure,monitoring, and comprehensive testing (including chaos engineering) to ensurerobust production systems.

    + Utilizing your deep AWS knowledge to build andmaintain our API-driven, microservices-based cloud infrastructure.

    + Working with other IT teams to execute strategicinitiatives like cloud migrations.

    + Proactively identifying and resolving securityvulnerabilities in code.

    + Developing and championing reusable technicalsolutions across our technology portfolio.

    + Identifying opportunities to enhance our products andcreate exceptional user experiences.

    + Investigating and providing solutions for criticaltechnical issues.

    + Providing ongoing support for productionapplications.

    + Continuously monitoring and optimizing theperformance and capacity of our systems.

    + Leading the triage and resolution of high-priorityincidents.

    + Actively participating in agile learning andmentoring team members in development best practices.

    What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

    + 3-5 years of practical experience in SoftwareEngineering or a related technical role.

    + Demonstrated expertise in relevant technologies andprogramming languages (see detailed list below).

    + Strong experience with Agile methodologies and DevOpspractices in an enterprise setting.

    + Hands-on experience developing software within AWS oranother major enterprise cloud environment.

    + Extensive back-end development experience, including:

    + Proficiency in Functional Programming (ideally Java).Experience with Java, Python, Spring Framework, Microservices, and APIdevelopment.

    + Solid understanding of AWS services, relational andNoSQL databases, caching mechanisms, storage solutions, scaling techniques,load balancing, CDNs, and networking principles.

    + Experience in architecting, developing, andsupporting RESTful and WebSocket APIs.

    + 3-5 years of development experience with Java andSpringBoot.

    + Comprehensive knowledge of n-tier web applicationarchitectures, including web servers (Apache), application servers (IBMWebSphere, Tomcat, Weblogic), databases (Oracle, MySQL), and AWSinfrastructure.

    + Experience working with containers and managedorchestration platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift) in the cloud (e.g., AWS EKS, RedHat OpenShift).

    + Experience in deploying and leveraging a wide rangeof AWS services (Lambda, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, Route53, etc.).

    + Proficiency with version control systems (Git) andautomated deployment pipelines (Jenkins).

    + Experience in maintaining and modernizing PAASapplications (on-premise and internal) for migration to AWS.

    + Working knowledge of MQ technologies such as Kafkaand Active MQ.

    + Familiarity with JBOSS and Websphere.

    + A strong grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle,CI/CD pipelines, and Test-Driven Development.

    + A foundational understanding of application securityprinciples and 12-factor application development.

    + Experience with source control, build tools, and Git(GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar).

    + Additional requirements

    + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

    + Previous experience working within the airline technology sector.
