    About the role

     

    As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for providing overseeing building operations of Soft Services for a 1.2 million square foot innovative Pharmaceutical Facility.

     

    This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets.

     

    This is an onsite role in Concord, NC.

    What you’ll do

    + Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and mentor. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

    + Will oversee the following services and work directly with the related vendors: landscaping, shredding, AEDs/ medical cabinets, uniforms/ mats, exterior glass, geese management, eyewash/ safety showers, and GMARS administration.

    + Schedule and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

    + Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.

    + Perform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest operational efficiencies, and upgrade opportunities.

    + Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.

    + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.

    + Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

    + Oversee GMP service providers and have knowledge of multiple procedures overseeing these duties.

    What you’ll need

    + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.

    + Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

    + Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and balance problems.

    + Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

    + Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
