    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking an Entry Level Financial Analyst for one of our asset management clients. This person will join a team of 18 people to support their current initiatives, including new investment product launches. They will be responsible for processing, maintaining, and distributing accurate and current investment and product data in various databases and software, including Tableau, Sharepoint, and SQL. This position will involve working with large volumes of product and industry data (i.e., performance, assets, flows, fees, characteristics) for multiple investment vehicles, including mutual funds, separate accounts (SMAs), and alternative investments. This person will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of product and investment data and transfers the data into reports for both internal and external use. They will assist the team in responding to requests for investment and portfolio-related data. This role will be performed three days a week on-site in Stamford and two days from a home office. This pay is between 18-25/hr depending on experience.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    0-2 years of analyst experience

     

    Financial background

     

    Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field

     

    Strong understanding of the investment management business

     

    Strong technical skills including advanced knowledge of Excel - (macros, complex arrays)

     

    Familiarity with SQL or data management Knowledge of investment-related programs (Morningstar Direct, eVestment, etc.)

    Familiarity with mutual funds, separate accounts (SMAs), and alternative investments null
