    The Cloud + AI Infrastructure (CAI) team delivers one scalable strategy with local execution for data center customer transformation and growth. We are the worldwide go-to-market compute and data center networking engine engaging with sellers, channel partners and our customers to fuel both their and Cisco's growth. Alongside our colleagues, the CAI team builds the sales strategy, activates sellers and technical communities, and accelerates solution selling every single day.

    Your Impact

    As a Business Development Manager - AI, you will drive the adoption of our AI and the "Rest of Cloud" market, (NCP) Neo Cloud Provider (e.g., Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), emerging AI providers such as AI native cloud builders, AI SaaS providers, and AI System Integrators.)

     

    You will identify potential clients, understand their specific needs, and provide tailored solutions that align with their business operations. This role allows you to author your own comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets for products and services through sophisticated relationship building and cultivation.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    * 6+ years of technology-related business development experience unlocking revenue for new innovative technology-based solutions.

    * Experience working with Venture Capitalists (VCs) or Private Equity (PE) companies who fund AI projects and emerging AI companies

    * Experience in understanding business issues of Cloud Builders and Providers (networking infrastructure/accelerated computing/data center technology/deep learning & machine learning).

    * Expertise in communicating complex Information & Machine Intelligence (I&MI) and AI infrastructure concepts to diverse audiences.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.

    * Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

    * Experience bridging large-scale networking concepts with AI infrastructure (data center / compute).

    * Experience with deep learning, data science, NVIDIA GPUs, and data estate workloads.

    * Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering and Marketing to develop and launch new AI or Networking Infrastructure offers.

    * A team-player mentality, working to create an outcome where everybody wins.
