    Witco is currently seeking part-time job coaches, evenings and weekends

     

    Witco is a not-for-profit human services agency serving people with disabilities in Southwestern Idaho for over 50 years.

     

    We are currently seeking part time job coaches to join our outstanding team, providing vocational services to individuals with disabilities at their place of employment. Services include coaching, mentoring, modeling, and advocating for community members with disabilities while they are on the job.

     

    Our dedicated team is committed to changing lives and strengthening communities through programs and service to individuals with disabilities.

    Essential Job Functions:

    Provide work and employment training services training to people who are cognitively, behaviorally and/or physically disabled.

     

    Provide or arrange transportation if needed

     

    Monitor progress towards goals, collect data on all services provided, evaluate results, make recommendations.

     

    Assess the strengths of individuals and teach them to use them effectively.

     

    Teach and model job skills and guide in learning to complete job tasks.

     

    Assist the employee with soft skills such as social skills and communication in the workplace.

     

    Counsel employee on fine-tuning work habits/skills to maintain employment.

     

    Help the employee stay motivated through difficult times.

     

    Encourage the development of self-esteem and independence.

     

    Work with the employer to identify their needs and workplace goals, and the employee's role in them.

     

    Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records, prepare reports if needed
