About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Technology as part of Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology. This Senior Java developer will aid in the development of a Counterparty Credit Risk application. Candidate would be responsible for gathering requirements and implementing complex changes to the application. Candidate should have some experience in high performance computing and experience in multi-threading and leveraging design patterns. They should be familiar with source control and working in a team environment.

In this role, you will:

+ Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

+ Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

+ Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

+ Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

+ Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

+ Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

+ Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

+ 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

+ 4+ years of Java experience

+ 3+ years of SQL experience

Desired Qualifications:

+ Agile experience

+ Knowledge of Jira and Confluence

+ Familiarity with the financial industry (knowledge of over-the-counter derivative products a plus)

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$84,000.00 - $179,200.00
