• Summer Youth Employment Mentors

    July 7 - August 7, 2025

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Monitor youth (ages 14-20) in two-day instructional setting and a five-week work placement. Mentors will travel to various work sites to work with the youth, provide supportive feedback, and reinforce positive work behaviors. Mentors will assist the teachers and site supervisors to ensure participants are developing personal and job-related skills that are transferable to post-program education, training and employment.

    Job Qualifications

    REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma (GED)

    + Recent post-secondary experience - preferably college

    + Applicants must be flexible and have the ability to work with at-risk students.
