SUMMARY: Senior Human Resources Business Partner provides human resources consultation and support various business unit(s) as a senior collaborator to create and implement strategic activities This role ensures that HR strategic initiatives are implemented across all business units by HRBP’s according to business goals, including transactional/operational and strategic methods to ensure legal compliance. This position focuses on long-term HR planning, talent management strategies, leadership development, and organizational design, through transactional, operational, and strategic activities related to compliance and regulatory requirements. The Senior HR Business Partner is tasked with reporting on HR metrics, enhancing workforce retention, developing recruitment strategies, managing termination processes, managing risk, engagement enhancement programs, employee relations, compensation analysis, initiating employee wellness activities and ensuring compliance to regulations. This position analyzes trends and develops workforce plans to resolve issues and make a positive impact, while overseeing other Human Business Partner and supporting managers.
Essential Functions:

+ Acts as a liaison between business partners, managers, and all HR functions to address business needs (recruiting, training, compensation, benefits, etc.)
+ Provides proactive coaching and training of employees and managers.
+ Resolves complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
+ Strategically reviews and provides analysis and reporting on various programs.
+ Assist with completion of annual Vet 4212 and EEO 1 reporting, if needed.
+ Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
+ Supports and documents HR policy, processes and provides guidance to managers.
+ Manages Disability, Leave of Absences and Reasonable Accommodations.
+ Analyzes HR-related data (e.g., turnover metrics, exit interview data, workforce demographics) and provides reports and guidance to business leaders.
+ Develops and manages recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing needs.
+ Coaches, advises, trains, and guides managers in effectively managing employee relations issues, while mitigating exposure and risk to the business.
+ Responsible for conducting final compliance check regarding multiple state minimum wage and sick leave laws to ensure process and implemented timely.
+ Communicate changes in Company policies to employees and managers.
+ Organize and promote HR projects and initiatives, such as performance and talent management, training, and development, pay equity recruiting practices and HRIS analytics, etc.
+ Ability to work independently, without significant direction and to use resources effectively.
+ Conduct new employee onboarding as needed.
+ Identify training needs for teams and individuals.
+ Create and implement new HR strategies.
+ Monitor communication of staff wellness initiatives when implemented to ensure smooth process.
+ Participate in special projects as requested or desired.
+ Safeguards confidentiality of the medical records and complies with all local, state, and federal laws pertaining to medical records. Assures compliance with all HIPAA regulations concerning use, retrieval, storage and sharing of medical records.
+ Report findings of inquiries, complaints, and employee satisfaction to applicable management when necessary
+ Assists in training and/or cross-training employees.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
+ Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
+ 3-4 years managerial experience
+ 15 or more years of advanced experience in Human Resources
+ Experience working in a multi-function, multi-geography environment preferred.
+ HRIS knowledge preferred.
+ PHR /SHRM-CP certification required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner has some supervisor responsibilities and will assist the Senior Human Resources Director with supervising Human Resources Business Partner and/or Human Resources Coordinators.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.
