Job Description:

Functions as a clinical facult y member of the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine reporting directly to the Specialty Service Director and Vice Chair of Anatomic Pathology with the following responsibilities:

Clinical Educational, and Academic Duties (100%):

+ Provide surgical pathology diagnostic services under the supervision of the subspecialty Division directors of the surgical pathology services.

+ Perform and interpreting frozen sections and provide evening and weekend call coverage for the surgical pathology services at U Health and Jackson Health System .

+ Attend and present at tumor boards and education sessions related to surgical pathology.

+ Provide educational lectures to residents and fellows, as requested .

+ Perform all duties in compliance with the Departments quality assurance guidelines .

+ Participate in ac ademic projects sponsored by sub specialty heads .

+ Provide support for residents on service .
