Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney/Lawyer to oversee litigation processes and drive client success from preparation through trial. Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and approve new claims within your jurisdiction to ensure consistent case progress and adherence to state-level goals.
• Collaborate with Managing or Regional Attorneys to manage case inventories, including handling exceptions and queues.
• Conduct document reviews, manage discovery processes, and execute required legal documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients and attorneys to discuss case details and strategies.
• Prepare and file legal documents while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Monitor and analyze legal statutes, regulations, and precedents to provide informed recommendations.
• Manage collection litigation, including working with Pro Se litigants, opposing counsel, and other parties to settle cases.
• Respond to litigation-specific components during client audits and ensure client satisfaction.
• Oversee and coordinate with outside counsel for collections and defense matters.
• Support corporate compliance initiatives related to debt collection and associated activities. Requirements • Active license and good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to assess probable case outcomes.
• Proficiency in case and document management software, such as Adobe Acrobat and 3M.
• Experience in civil litigation, claim administration, and complaint handling.
• Familiarity with creditor representation and consumer law procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams.
• Detail-oriented approach to preparing legal documents and managing case inventories.
• Ability to stay updated on relevant legal rules, regulations, and case law.
