Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to lead and manage the accounts payable process in a hands-on capacity. This role requires a proactive individual with strong attention to detail who can oversee a small team while ensuring accurate and efficient processing of full-cycle accounts payable. Based in Collierville, Tennessee, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative finance environment.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and guide a team in the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions.
• Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice coding, approvals, and payments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all accounts payable activities.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts payable reports to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper allocation and coding of expenses.
• Streamline accounts payable workflows by identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Manage accruals and month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Utilize accounting software systems, such as Concur and ADP, to manage and track accounts payable.
• Generate reports and assist with audits as needed to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, including full-cycle processing.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor a small team.
• Proficiency in accounting software and systems, such as Concur and ADP.
• Solid knowledge of accrual accounting principles and processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Familiarity with automated clearing house (ACH) processes and other payment methods.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
