Description

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Cloud Systems Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team and help manage our growing cloud environment. The Cloud Systems Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security of cloud-based systems.

+ Deploy, configure, and manage cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

+ Monitor system performance and availability; implement scaling and optimization strategies.

+ Automate routine tasks using scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).

+ Ensure systems are secure and compliant with industry best practices.

+ Manage backup and disaster recovery processes.

+ Collaborate with development and operations teams on infrastructure needs.

+ Troubleshoot system issues and provide Tier 2/3 support.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

+ 3+ years of experience in systems administration with a focus on cloud environments.

+ Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

+ Proficiency in Linux and Windows server environments.

+ Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

+ Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus).

+ Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, and VPNs.
