Description We are looking for a detail-oriented A/P + A/R Clerk to support payroll functions and manage accounts payable and receivable processes. This is a long-term contract opportunity based in Los Angeles, California, with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week. The role requires expertise in financial documentation and a commitment to ensuring compliance with contract regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with relevant policies.

• Prepare and manage accounts payable invoices, verifying details and resolving discrepancies.

• Track and monitor contract compliance, ensuring adherence to established agreements.

• Handle expense reporting and travel-related financial documentation.

• Collaborate with suppliers to manage purchase orders and maintain strong vendor relationships.

• Maintain accurate financial records, including notes and specifications related to buying processes.

• Provide clear explanations and documentation regarding financial transactions.

• Support hardware and software needs related to financial systems, including troubleshooting and replacements.

• Ensure consistent application of agreements and pursue necessary updates or changes as needed.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and summaries for management review. Requirements • Proven experience in payroll processing and accounts payable/receivable.

• Strong understanding of contract compliance and financial regulations.

• Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.

• Familiarity with financial systems, including expense reporting and purchase order management.

• Ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams.

• Experience with tools such as About Time and NIS is a plus.

• Competence in handling financial documentation and ensuring accuracy.

• Skilled in managing travel-related expenses and reporting.
