Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join a leading law firm based in Chevy Chase, Maryland. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic legal team by providing comprehensive support in case management, administrative tasks, and legal documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal processes and tools, ensuring efficient and accurate delivery of services.

Responsibilities:

• Manage case files and legal documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

• Utilize tools such as Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) to maintain and organize case data.

• Assist with drafting and briefing legal documents, including claims and correspondence.

• Oversee calendar management to coordinate meetings, deadlines, and court dates.

• Handle billing functions and monitor claim administration processes.

• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and staff to relay case updates and address inquiries.

• Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.

• Maintain proficiency in case management software and tools to streamline workflows.

• Ensure timely filing and submission of documents to courts and regulatory agencies.

• Support team members with administrative tasks to enhance overall efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a paralegal role within a legal firm.

• Proficiency in Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and case management software.

• Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) and CompuLaw.

• Strong organizational skills, including calendar and document management.

• Experience with billing functions and claim administration.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and other legal professionals.

• Detail-oriented approach to managing legal documentation and deadlines.
