As an Accounts Payable Specialist Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Process both purchase order (PO) and non-PO invoices accurately and within specified timeframes.

• Manage expense reports using Concur, ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Utilize NetSuite and other accounting software to perform account coding and maintain accurate financial records.

• Collaborate with the team to address and resolve accounts payable inbox queries.

• Support weekly check-in meetings to track progress and align on team goals.

• Handle accrual accounting tasks and ensure proper documentation for auditing purposes.

• Process payments through automated clearing house (ACH) and other payment methods.

• Assist in clearing backlogs by working overtime when necessary.

• Contribute to the improvement and optimization of accounts payable processes.

• Maintain a friendly and detail-oriented demeanor while working in a results-focused environment.

Requirements

The ideal Accounts Payable Specialist candidate will have:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including NetSuite and Concur.

• Strong understanding of account coding and accrual accounting principles.

• Experience with ERP systems and financial services tools such as bill.com.

• Familiarity with processing ACH payments and auditing processes.

• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage backlogs when needed.

• Previous experience in a biotech or high-tech industry is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a results-oriented team.
