Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing video content for a variety of projects, including commercials, corporate videos, social media campaigns, educational materials, and more. As a Video Editor, you will play a key role in ensuring our visual content is polished, engaging, and aligned with brand standards. The position requires strong creative and technical skills, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality content on time.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Edit raw video footage into polished, professional-quality content that aligns with project goals and brand guidelines.

+ Collaborate with videographers, producers, and other team members to understand project objectives and vision.

+ Assemble footage, apply transitions, add sound effects, and overlay music to enhance the narrative and emotional impact.

+ Ensure all content meets creative standards and technical specifications for different platforms, including social media, websites, and digital marketing campaigns.

+ Create motion graphics and visual effects using software like Adobe After Effects or equivalent tools, if required.

+ Color correct and grade video footage for improved quality and consistency.

+ Organize and maintain an efficient workflow for video projects to ensure deadlines are met reliably.

+ Manage and archive video assets to facilitate future use and retrieval.

+ Implement feedback from stakeholders and make necessary revisions to video content.

+ Stay up to date on current editing trends, techniques, and industry standards to produce cutting-edge content.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

+ Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a compelling portfolio showcasing completed video projects.

+ Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or other equivalent platforms.

+ Strong understanding of editing principles, including pacing, transitions, and storytelling.

+ Experience with sound editing, music integration, and creating seamless audio transitions.

+ Attention to detail and commitment to delivering error-free content.

+ Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

+ Proficiency in video formats, codecs, and technical specifications for digital and broadcast content.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with motion graphics and animation using After Effects or similar tools.

+ Familiarity with color grading techniques for greater visual impact.

+ Basic understanding of photography and videography principles.

+ Experience editing content across various formats, such as vertical video for social media and long-form for presentations or documentaries.

+ Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and how video content aligns with business goals.
