Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of our team in Richmond, Virginia. This role requires a results-driven individual who can efficiently manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and monthly financial closings. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting systems and processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial activities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.

• Lead the monthly financial close process, including the preparation of accurate financial reports.

• Utilize accounting software systems, including ERP platforms, to streamline and optimize financial operations.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations through meticulous auditing and reporting.

• Oversee billing functions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

• Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation to support audits and future reference.

• Provide leadership and support to the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Requirements • Proven experience in managing accounting functions, including AP, AR, payroll, and financial closings.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, BlackLine, and Concur.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and their application in financial processes.

• Hands-on experience with auditing and ensuring regulatory compliance.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in ADP financial services or similar payroll systems is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
