Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Tax Manager (Experienced / Senior-Level) and Tax Manager (Junior to Mid-Level) to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity where you will play a key role in overseeing complex tax engagements, mentoring team members, and providing strategic tax planning services. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in public accounting, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and review tax filings for various entities, including individuals, trusts, partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps.

• Conduct detailed reviews of tax preparations completed by less experienced staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Coordinate workloads across internal teams and external resources to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency.

• Provide strategic tax planning and prepare quarterly estimates for high-net-worth clients and businesses.

• Collaborate with leadership to develop team members through coaching and mentorship programs.

• Contribute to process improvements to enhance overall team productivity and operational efficiency.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing guidance and addressing their unique tax-related concerns.

• Stay current with tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for clients.

• Participate in the final review process to ensure the highest standards of quality and accuracy are met.

Requirements • A minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax preparation and review.

• CPA designation or significant progress toward certification is strongly preferred.

• Proven expertise in managing tax engagements for multiple entity types, including partnerships and corporations.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems such as CCH ProSystem Fx and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong knowledge of partnership taxation, trusts, estates, and compliance requirements.

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Leadership experience, including mentoring and supervising less experienced team members.

• Ability to adapt quickly to new workflows, technologies, and changing client needs.
