    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join a team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and payment reconciliation. If you have strong data entry skills and a background in accounts payable, we encourage you to apply.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process and enter invoice details into the system to ensure accurate and timely payments.

    • Review and validate invoice data for accuracy and completeness before submission.

    • Manage daily mail from external agencies, including scanning, organizing, and logging documents.

    • Monitor payment statuses and follow up on pending or outstanding invoices.

    • Utilize Microsoft Excel to verify data accuracy and assist in generating reports.

    • Communicate with team members and external contacts to resolve discrepancies or gather additional information.

    • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

    • Collaborate with team members to address any backlog in invoice processing.

    • Gain familiarity with internal systems like Origami to support data tracking and reporting needs.

    • Assist with insurance claims processing and ensure proper documentation is submitted for review.

    Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar data entry role.

     

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.

    • Familiarity with accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, or QuickBooks.

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • Effective communication skills for resolving invoice discrepancies.

    • Basic understanding of insurance claims processing is a plus.

    • Experience with high-volume invoice processing is preferred.
