Job Summary

As a Lead Developer you will play a crucial role in designing developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Java Fullstack technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications. Your expertise in Spring Boot and Spring MVC will be essential in driving innovation and efficiency in our projects.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and maintain robust Java Fullstack applications to meet business requirements and enhance user experience.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.

+ Utilize Spring Boot and Spring MVC frameworks to design scalable and efficient applications.

+ Implement advanced Java techniques to optimize application performance and reliability.

+ Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code standards.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth operation of applications.

+ Participate in agile development processes to deliver projects on time and within scope.

+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster skill development.

+ Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

+ Contribute to the improvement of development processes and methodologies for better efficiency.

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

+ Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards in all development activities.

+ Drive innovation by exploring new tools and technologies to enhance application capabilities.

Qualifications

+ Possess strong experience in Java Fullstack development including Spring Boot and Spring MVC.

+ Demonstrate proficiency in Java Collection and Advanced Java techniques for optimal application performance.

+ Have a solid understanding of Listing and Finding Services domain to enhance application functionality.

+ Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

+ Show capability to work effectively in a hybrid work model with strong communication skills.

+ Display a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.

+ Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field with relevant industry experience.

The annual salary for this position is between $83,250 – $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
