Robert Half is seeking a motivated and compassionate Attorney/Lawyer to join a team based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As an Attorney/ Lawyer your responsibilities will include but aren't limited too:

• Represent clients during court appearances, including handling cases in the Court of Common Pleas.

• Prepare and file legal documents such as motions for fee waivers and petitions for expungement.

• Provide legal counsel and support to clients, ensuring their needs are met with patience and professionalism.

• Collaborate with clients from diverse backgrounds, particularly those from low-income demographics.

• Maintain accurate records and manage cases using case management software and other legal tools.

• Draft and review legal motions, briefs, and petitions to ensure compliance with applicable laws.

• Attend court proceedings 2-3 days per week and work at least one half-day in the office weekly as part of a hybrid schedule.

• Utilize document management systems to organize and maintain case files effectively.

• Advocate for clients’ rights in a variety of civil litigation matters, ensuring the best possible outcomes.

Requirements

The ideal Attorney/Lawyer will have the following:

• Active bar admission in Pennsylvania or eligibility for waiver into the state bar.

• Experience working with non-profit organizations or clients from underserved communities is highly desirable.

• Strong comfort level in courtroom settings and with direct client interaction.

• Familiarity with legal tools such as Adobe Acrobat, case management software, and document management systems.

• Proficiency in drafting legal motions, petitions, and other court-related documents.

• Patience, adaptability, and a good sense of humor to navigate challenging situations.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills to handle multiple cases effectively.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
