Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Lynwood, California. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate billing processes while working fully onsite, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and submit billing claims accurately and in a timely manner.

• Utilize CareLogic software and other electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage billing processes.

• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks with precision and efficiency.

• Respond to inbound calls related to billing inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.

• Verify and reconcile billing data to ensure consistency and compliance with organizational standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and resolve billing issues promptly.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all billing activities.

• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance in billing operations.

• Assist in generating financial reports related to billing as required. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems, including CareLogic, Epic, and other EHR platforms.

• Demonstrated experience in medical billing and financial services.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Ability to effectively manage computerized billing systems.

• Previous experience handling inbound calls related to billing or financial inquiries.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Familiarity with non-profit billing operations is a plus.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
