Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Paralegal to provide comprehensive support to attorneys in patent litigation and related legal proceedings. This role involves managing critical aspects of case preparation, including document review, trial support, and coordination with various stakeholders. Based in Austin, Texas, this position offers a hybrid work schedule, with at least three days in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys during all phases of patent litigation, including discovery, trial, and appeal, while providing lead paralegal support during hearings and trials.

• Prepare materials for depositions, witness interviews, pretrial motions, hearings, and arbitration, including trial binders, exhibits, and discovery documents.

• Manage and organize large document collections, databases, and productions for case tracking and discovery purposes.

• Utilize legal technology such as Relativity and other eDiscovery tools to conduct document reviews, create privilege logs, and manage data rooms.

• Provide support for patent litigation, appeals, and contested proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and the International Trade Commission.

• Collaborate with attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, and external vendors to ensure seamless coordination and communication.

• Draft legal documents and correspondence for attorney review, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

• Analyze and summarize case-related information to assist attorneys in developing legal strategies.

• Maintain meticulous records and case files to support efficient case management.

• Support fact-gathering efforts by conducting research and analyzing relevant information. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on patent litigation.

• Proficiency in legal software, including Relativity, eDiscovery tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, and external parties.

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

• Experience with the International Trade Commission and Patent Trial and Appeal Board proceedings is highly desirable.

• Trial experience and expertise in managing trial preparations and logistics.

• Paralegal certification or equivalent relevant training is preferred.
